Destiny 2 Kindling – How to Get Kindling Quickly

in the destiny 2, Kindle is one of the currencies used at the Solstice 2022 event. It is used to enhance event armor – it gives it a shine and allows you to reroll its stats. Unlike most event currencies, like Solstice’s Silver Leaves, Kindling isn’t earned simply by playing the game. You earn it by completing certain challenges, and there’s a very limited supply – just enough to fully upgrade each of your four main armor pieces. I’ll go through each one destiny 2 Kindling Challenge and tell you how to complete it as quickly and efficiently as possible.

To farm destiny 2 Kindling – Equip a hand cannon, shotgun, heavy machine gun, and a Solar subclass. Conduct patrols and public events in the throne world. Once you’ve completed these three challenges, do Strikes, then Crucible Runs, then Dares of Eternity, and finally Sever Missions. Every time you have over 20 Silver Leafs, make a run of Bonfire Bash.

If you follow these rules, you have all yours destiny 2 Completed Kindling challenges in the shortest amount of time. I separated all 24 of them into three different groups. I will go through each group in detail. So if you’re struggling with any of the Kindling challenges, I probably have the answer you’re looking for.

There is a limited supply of Kindling destiny 2. There are 24 challenges on your event map, each awarding a kindling. So, in total, you get 24 Kindling per character – enough to fully upgrade every piece of your Candescent armor, minus the class item (which has no stats and consequently no upgrades).

These challenges aren’t account-wide – so you’ll need to do them three times if you want a fully reignited Candescent Armor for all of your characters.

I went through them destiny 2 Kindling challenges in the event map and group them by challenge type. There are a number of challenges related to Bonfire Bash, specific enemy kill requirements, and challenges related to your activities.

I’ll go through each group and highlight the best way to complete them and any potential problem areas you might encounter.

Group 1 – The Bonfire Bash

  • bashing success – Complete a run of Bonfire Bash.
  • Torch the taken – Defeat 20 Taken Majors in Bonfire Bash.
  • Good ignition – Defeat 20 detonators in Bonfire Bash.
  • fuel for the fire – Stoke the flames 50 times in Bonfire Bash.
  • Ashtray – Collect 500 Silver Ashes.
  • Around the campfire – Complete Bonfire Bash twice against all potential races.
  • Fuel for the Fire II – Stoke the flames in Bonfire Bash 100 times.
  • Fuel for the Fire III – Stoke the flames 150 times in Bonfire Bash.

The first challenges I’ve grouped are all related to Bonfire Bash. Since this activity is a core part of the event’s gameplay, you should passively complete all of these activities over the next week or two.

There’s nothing particularly intimidating or difficult here. You could pretty easily finish them all within 20 runs. However, I would not recommend that. Bonfire Bash will only run if you have at least 20 Silver Leaves in your inventory. Otherwise, you’re wasting time and efficiency.

Group 2 – defeat targets

  • Like Wildfire – Defeat targets anywhere in the system.
  • pyromania – Defeat fighters with solar abilities.
  • superlative – Defeat targets with super abilities.
  • firepower – Defeat fighters with Power Weapons.
  • hand lighter – Defeat targets with handguns.
  • Shotgun Solstice – Defeat targets with shotguns.
  • Burn them down – Defeat bosses anywhere in the system.

This group of destiny 2 Kindling challenges all relate to defeating targets anywhere in the system. All of these challenges except for Burn them downthat requires boss kills can be self-performed in everything from Strikes to Bonfire Bash.

Most of these Kindling challenges are based on percentages. From my own experience, one percent equals about three kills, so that’s the number you’ll be looking at.

If you slam up a hand cannon, shotgun, and heavy machine gun with a Solar subclass while completing other challenges, you’ll complete them surprisingly quickly.

Group 3 – Activities

  • Forged in flames – Defeat 100 Guardians in any activity.
  • Rake the coals – Complete playlist activities to earn Silver Leafs.
  • anniversary of the solstice – Complete public events anywhere to earn Silver Leaves.
  • lamplighter – Complete 10 patrols on any destination to earn Silver Leaves.
  • Dare to dream – Complete runs of Blind Well or Dares of Eternity to earn Silver Leaves.
  • incidence of light – Complete Vanguard Ops or Nightfalls to earn Silver Leaves.
  • fire of completion – Complete matches in Crucible or Gambit playlists to earn Silver Leafs.
  • A spark in the dark – Complete Sever missions or Altars of Sorrow rounds to earn Silver Leaves.
  • In the hot seat – Complete activities in the Throne World to earn Silver Leaves.

The last group of destiny 2 Lighting the fire is by far the most difficult and time-consuming. Each of these is tied to a specific activity – you’ll be hopping around the system to do them, and most of them can’t be done at the same time as any other.

Each activity-based challenge that asks you to earn Silver Leaves is based on a percentage. Again, in my experience, each percent equals one silver leaf, so you’ll bring in between four and six percent with each completion.

anniversary of the solstice, lamplighterand In the hot seat can all be completed together provided you do patrols and public events in Throne World. In fact, such a loop is one of the most efficient Silver Leaves farms in the game.

You must complete the rest of these challenges individually based on activity. Just make sure you use the weapons you need for the group two challenges.

All in all, these challenges are actually not too difficult to complete. Head down and grind out – it’s worth it.
